Life in tiny, misshapen houses after Hanoi’s demolitions to build road

Earlier this year, Hanoi decided to build a road linking Cau Giay Street with the Dich Vong New Urban Area as part of the Ring Road 2.5 and its transport development plan.
The road, 420 meters long, requires more than 21,459 sq.m of land.
After buildings were dismantled fully or partially to make space for the work, many narrow and misshapen houses litter the road.
