New Delhi: After MPCA President Mahanaryaman Scindia and former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan attended the MPL Women’s team draft in Gwalior on Thursday, a final list of women’s players for all the teams was also confirmed.
In the first season of the MPL in 2025, there were only three teams and with the addition of two new teams, a total of five women’s teams will be participating in the marquee competition.
Much like the first season, the second season of the cricket league also promises to be a blockbuster.

Meanwhile, a High Performance Centre is also scheduled to be opened in Gwalior and it will provide proper training to all the players. Mahanaryaman Scindia has taken Madhya Pradesh cricket to new heights and aims to elevate it further.
The best talent was selected from over 300 young women players across the state and the five MPL teams shortlisted the players based on their team strategies respectively.
