In Bihar and Jharkhand, rain is also forecasted today. The IMD has issued warnings for thunderstorms and strong winds in these regions, with temperatures potentially dropping by 2 degrees Celsius after the rain, providing relief from the heat.

In Madhya Pradesh, light rain is expected in several districts today, including Gwalior and Datia, as per the IMD. Meanwhile, various districts in Rajasthan are also likely to experience light rain today and tomorrow.

From April 30 to May 5, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are predicted to see light to moderate rain, snowfall, and thunderstorms with strong winds on different days.
In the northeastern states of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, an alert has been issued for heavy rain and strong winds over the next four days. Additionally, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh are expected to experience rain and strong winds, with some areas facing heavy rainfall between April 30 and May 3.
