A former JPMorgan staffer identified as Chirayu Rana has been accused of making fabricated sexual-harassment claims against a high-ranking executive at the financial services firm, the New York Post reported, citing sources. The development came after an internal investigation found no evidence of wrongdoing. Rana, 35, who is currently a principal at investment firm Bregal Sagemount, is the man who reportedly brought the bombshell lawsuit against Lorna Hajdini earlier this week, multiple sources told the news outlet.

A bank spokesperson, who declined to comment on the identity of Doe, said a thorough internal investigation by the bank’s HR department and in-house lawyers, found no evidence to support them. The probe included a review of team phone records and emails.

“Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims,” NY Post quoted the spokesperson as saying. “While numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and has declined to provide facts that would be central to support his allegations.”

In the suit filed by Rana, under the pseudonym John Doe, he accused the 37-year-old executive director of subjecting him to sexual abuse. According to the suit, Rana alleged that Hajdini drugged him with Rohypnol and Viagra and threatened to reduce his bonus if he did not comply, effectively turning him into what he described as a “sex slave.”

The sexual harassment claims came to light after The Daily Mail broke the story on Wednesday evening (April 30, 2026), citing shocking details from a now-retracted court document that has since been withdrawn for “corrections.”

Hajdini, executive director on JPMorgan’s leveraged finance team, showed up without prior notice at Rana’s apartment and forced him to have sex, the British tabloid reported, quoting the now-deleted court papers. He claimed that the alleged coercion began shortly after he joined JPMorgan’s leveraged-finance team in the spring of 2024. He filed an internal complaint in May 2025. In the complaint, he alleged race- and gender-based harassment and abuse of power before trying to negotiate a payoff that ran into “millions” to leave the company, sources told The Post.
