Fuel Price Hike Today: State-run oil companies have decided to absorb the increase in global fuel prices themselves in an effort to shield airlines and consumers; consequently, ATF prices have not been revised.

Petrol-Diesel Prices: As the month of May begins today, there has been no change in Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices for domestic airlines. Additionally, the rates for petrol, diesel, and domestic LPG—fuels used by the general public—have also been kept stable.

What are the Current Prices?

ATF: Jet fuel prices for domestic flights remain unchanged, having been kept exactly as they were previously. This measure aims to alleviate some of the pressure regarding potential fare hikes.

Petrol & Diesel: Today, petrol and diesel prices across the country's major cities remain stable. In Delhi, the price of petrol stands at ₹94.77 per liter, while diesel is priced at ₹87.67 per liter. Despite volatility in international markets driven by tensions in the Middle East, oil companies have refrained from making any adjustments to domestic retail prices.

Domestic LPG: There has been no change in the price of the standard 14.2 kg domestic cooking gas cylinder.

Commercial LPG: While the prices for the 14.2 kg domestic cylinders remain unchanged, the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has witnessed a substantial hike of ₹993.
