New Delhi: Amidst the political turmoil within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the biggest question being raised is whether the party’s firebrand leader Sanjay Singh is also going to join the BJP? Recently, the market of speculation was hot after many big leaders including Raghav Chadha changed sides. Now Sanjay Singh himself has broken his silence on all these questions and has given an answer whose echo is being heard throughout politics.
I will not change my party till I die: Sanjay Singh
Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has given a blunt reply rejecting these rumors. He clearly said that he will not join BJP till his death. In an interview given to a YouTube channel, Sanjay Singh clarified that he never received any offer from BJP to join. Contrary to the old claims of Manish Sisodia, he made his position clear and said that there is no place for BJP’s ideology in his principles.
Why didn’t you try it on me? Sanjay Singh revealed the secret
When Sanjay Singh was asked whether BJP ever tried to bring him into its fold, he replied in a very frank manner. He said, “I was never tried. They had sent me to jail, so how could they try this on me? They never even try us, and why should I lie about it.” Sanjay Singh also targeted the ideology of RSS and guaranteed that whoever writes it will never join BJP.
There is a huge stampede in the party
Let us tell you that in the last few days, the top leadership of Aam Aadmi Party got a big shock when 7 out of 10 Rajya Sabha MPs of the party suddenly joined BJP. Those who left the party included the names of stalwarts like Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak, which shook the foundation of AAP. After this stampede, questions started being raised about Sanjay Singh’s future, which he has now dismissed.
CM Bhagwant Mann will meet the President
Amidst this turmoil within the party, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has now come into action mode. Bhagwant Mann has announced that he will meet President Draupadi Murmu on May 5. Their main objective is to demand recall of the 7 Rajya Sabha MPs who have left AAP and joined BJP. The President has given him an appointment on May 5 at 12 noon. Chief Minister Mann is preparing a strategy on this issue with other party MLAs so that the party can be rescued from this crisis.
