Example of squirrel: Every contribution is important in nation building.
Shri Adani mentioned the incident from Ramayana in which a small squirrel was contributing in building Ram Setu. He told the employees, “What is important is not how big your contribution is, what is important is that when history is written, it should not be said that you did not contribute.” Giving examples of Mundra Port, Vizhinjam Port and Khavra Green Energy Projects, he explained how vacant lands have become the strength of the country today.
Three major changes in the organization: ‘Triveni Sangam’ model
To increase the efficiency and speed of the organization, Shri Adani announced three pillars:
3-Layer Model: The organization will be made more ‘flat’ so that there are no delays in decision making. Decisions which used to take 3 days will now be taken in 3 hours.
Partnership Model: Contractors and vendors will not be considered mere ‘contractors’ but ‘partners’. He narrated the story of Hadhubhai Rabari of Vandh village, who started with a tanker and has built a big business today.
Learning & Development: Every worker will be made skilled through ‘Adani Training Academy’. He gave the example of Hazira Port worker ‘Subbu’, who due to his hard work is today the Innovation Manager in the corporate office.
Vision of the future: Panchatatva and indigenous talent
Shri Adani for the organization ‘Panchattva’ laid down its principles, which include giving priority to local people, continuous training, clear career progression, fair wages and a life of dignity.
