Kathmandu. Nepal’s Prime Minister Balendra Shah, while wishing for world peace on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Jayanti, has said that true revolution does not start with ‘K’, but with ‘Gya’ i.e. ‘knowledge’. Quoting the teachings of Lord Buddha, Shah wrote in his message on social media platform
He said that the path shown by Buddha is actually the path to the end of suffering. Emphasizing the importance of knowledge, the Nepalese Prime Minister said that darkness is only the absence of light. As soon as the ray of light steps in, darkness automatically disappears. He said, “Our journey should be on the path of searching for the light of knowledge and solving problems.”
Paying tribute to Lord Buddha, the great promoter of peace, Shah said that the land of Nepal, blessed with the birth of Buddha, has always been in favor of non-violence and peace. He wished everyone a life full of wisdom in line with Buddha’s famous message ‘Appa Deepo Bhava’ (Become your own lamp).
