Delhi. Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday included RS Ambareesh in their team for the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in place of injured player Shivam Mahi. “Right-arm medium pace bowler Mavi has been ruled out of the season due to a groin injury,” the IPL said in a statement.
All-rounder Ambareesh was part of the Indian Under-19 team that won the World Cup earlier this year. He was also the joint-highest wicket taker for Indian Under-19 in this tournament with 11 wickets to his name. Ambareesh is a right-arm medium pace bowler and left-handed batsman. He will join Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 30 lakh.
