Surat, May 2, 2026 – Every citizen of our country should think about the different problems of India, for this ‘Surat Literary Foundation’ organizes the program “Surat Lit Fest” every year in the month of January under its fixed goal “India@2047”.

By combining the successful experiences of the last four Surat Lit Fest programs, Surat Literary Foundation, with a new consciousness and a new theme, to engage the citizens of the country, especially the youth, in thinking about the internal and external security of the country, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 10:00 am in the ‘Atal Bihari Vajpayee’ Auditorium Hall, located in Katargam-Dabholi area of Surat city, our intelligence agency of the country – RAW. In the presence of former head of IPC, Dr. Vikram Sood, it is going to release the book written by him “Great Power Games” and organize an important dialogue program with the residents.

Today, seeing the increasing tension between different countries of the world and India’s dominance amidst global problems, all the countries of the world humbly want solutions to global problems from India. Today we proudly say that our India has already been a vast source of knowledge, showing the way to the world.

India is continuously moving forward with the current global responsibilities and internal challenges. Many famous and unknown great men of the country have contributed in keeping India’s strength and self-respect strong in front of the world, in which RAW, the intelligence agency which provides internal and external security to the country by remaining invisible in front of those who challenge the country and abroad, also has a special contribution.

After watching the recent movie ‘Dhurandhar’ based on real incidents, the citizens of the country have realized that no matter how difficult the situation is, the intelligence agency personnel are still working for the security of our country. The real hero of this Dhurandhar movie, Dr. Vikram Sood ji is coming to our city to release his book and have a special discussion with the aware citizens of the city.

Who is Vikram Sood?

At one time Dr. Sood ji was an officer in the Indian Postal Service, later he joined our intelligence agency-RAW, after 31 years of service, he retired from the post of intelligence officer in 2003. He was the chief of RAW from 2000 to 2003. Dr. Sood ji, who has a master’s degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, has written many books in his social life, out of which the release of the recently written book “Great Power Games” and his special interaction program with the citizens has been organized by ‘Surat Literary Foundation’ tomorrow at 10:00 am on Sunday at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium Hall in Katargam area, in which the work of the country’s intelligence agency, in front of the country.
