Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa met BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B. L. Santhosh and held discussions on Saturday.
Santhosh visited Yediyurappa’s residence in the morning, had breakfast with him, and held talks for nearly two hours. The meeting is said to have taken place in the backdrop of the upcoming ‘BSY Abhimanotsava’ and other party programmes scheduled for May 9.
Sharing a photo on social media platform ‘X’, Yediyurappa said that Santhosh has been successfully managing the party organisation across the country in his role as national general secretary (organisation). He added that Santhosh paid a cordial visit to his residence and joined him for breakfast.
Yediyurappa also expressed confidence that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP would achieve a significant victory in the upcoming assembly elections in five states.
He further stated that Santhosh conveyed his wishes regarding his 50-year political journey and described his organisational skills and strategic ability as an inspiration to party workers.
