Prayagraj: The North Central Railway's Prayagraj division has undertaken a substantial operation against encroachments on railway property. Bulldozers were deployed to demolish illegal structures in the Gaughat area. During this initiative, approximately 6,500 square meters of railway land was freed from encroachment, valued at around ₹100 crores.

The operation was led by DRM Rajneesh Agarwal of the Prayagraj division. This campaign was successfully carried out with the assistance of the district administration, under the guidance of Additional Divisional Railway Manager (General) Deepak Kumar. Teams from the railway, Railway Protection Force, and civil administration collaborated in this effort.

Key personnel involved in this operation included Division Engineer V.K. Tripathi, Assistant Division Engineers Praveen Kumar Srivastava and Ramchandra Singh, Senior Section Engineer Shashikant Tiwari, and SSE/IOW/HQ Satyaprakash, with around 20 staff members from the railway engineering department actively participating. The Railway Protection Force was represented by Assistant Security Commissioner Suresh Yadav and Inspector Amit Meena, along with approximately 24 personnel.

The district administration and civil police were also present, including ACP Nikita Srivastava from Atarsuiya, Naib Tehsildar Rajesh Kumar Yadav, and various inspectors from local police stations such as Kidganj, Atarsuiya, Kotwali, Dhooman Ganj, and Khuldabad, totaling around 60 police officers.
