The controversy that started over the remarks of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rekha Sharma on former Haryana Chief Minister late Bhajan Lal is not ending. Now, after the comments of Bhajan Lal’s son and BJP leader Kuldeep Bishnoi, Haryana BJP President Mohan Lal Badoli has said that Kuldeep will be put on notice and an answer will be sought from him. The thing is that Kuldeep Bishnoi had released a video in which he did not respect Rekha Sharma and she has been detained by plane. Kuldeep Bishnoi had also taken on Mohan Lal Badoli.

Kuldeep Bishnoi on Saturday demanded an apology from his party’s Rajya Sabha member Rekha Sharma for her alleged comments against the former Chief Minister and his father Bhajan Lal and said that failing this, the matter would not be limited to this. Late Bhajan Lal’s younger son Kuldeep Bishnoi not only launched a scathing attack on Rekha Sharma but also targeted state BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli, claiming that he had not used a respectful tone while referring to former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal recently.

Talking to journalists in Ambala on the same issue, party state president Mohan Lal Badoli said, ‘We will issue him (Kuldeep) a notice and seek his reply.’ He said that Chaudhary Bhajanlal served as the Chief Minister of Haryana for a long time. Regarding Rekha Sharma, he said that she was recently addressing a meeting in Panchkula regarding the upcoming municipal elections. Mohan Lal Badoli said, ‘He (Sharma) made a mistake in the choice of words but he did not make any personal comment on Bhajan Lal. Rekha Sharma later clarified her statement but due to the comments made by Kuldeep Bishnoi through social media, we will issue a notice to him.

What did Kuldeep Bishnoi say?

Expressing displeasure over Rekha Sharma’s statement, Kuldeep Bishnoi had released a video. In this video, Kuldeep Bishnoi had said, ‘Some names do not grow with time. Some names allow time to become great. Some people are great by position and some become so great by their deeds that even positions are left in front of them. Chaudhary Bhajanlal was not a name but an era. His work resonates. Never publicized his work but the public respected him. Today, efforts are being made to raise questions on that great name. I want to make it clear that Rejha ji, your statement is not a mistake but a symbol of the weakness of your mind. History is witness to the fact that you did not just speak words, you demonstrated your ideological poverty and immaturity. The name which you are trying to erase has written the fate and picture of the state.

Earlier, during the campaign for the mayor’s election in Panchkula, Rekha Sharma had said that earlier she had won the election here by bullying. Rekha Sharma said about BJP’s mayoral candidate Shyamlal Bansal that Shyamlal has also seen the time when Congress’s bullying used to go on. After this video surfaced, a legal notice was also sent to Rekha Sharma.
