A significant initiative has been undertaken to make learning easier and simpler for students in the 11th and 12th grades. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has launched free online courses aimed at providing quality education to students through digital mediums. These courses are being made available via the SWAYAM platform, where students can study at any time according to their own convenience. This initiative will not only provide students with a better understanding of their subjects but will also enable them to strengthen their preparation from the comfort of their homes, thereby allowing them to better prepare themselves for future examinations.
**Which Subjects Are Covered?**
A total of 11 subjects have been included in this program. These include subjects such as Accountancy, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Physics, Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology, Business Studies, and English. Each course has been designed to span a duration of 21 weeks, structured in a way that allows students to study at their own pace, free from undue pressure.
**Learning Methodology and Features**
These online courses offer features such as video lectures, discussion forums, and guidance from experts. Students can also take quizzes and tests to assess their level of preparation. Upon completing the course, it will be mandatory to appear for a final examination, based on the results of which a certificate will be awarded.
**The Opportunity to Study Anywhere, Anytime**
The most significant highlight of this initiative is its flexibility. Students can study at any time—day or night—and from any location. This will assist them in undertaking additional practice alongside their regular academic studies.
**Important Dates**
To participate in this program, students must register by September 1st. Applications for assessment will be accepted between September 7th and September 9th. The final examinations will be conducted from September 10th to September 15th, and the courses will conclude on September 15th.
**How to Apply?**

Select a course of your choice.
Access the study materials after completing the enrollment process.

Students may also apply through the official NCERT website within the stipulated deadline, if they wish.
