Mamata-Shubhendu's phones seized during Bengal election counting. Seeing the rise of BJP, central forces were deployed in government offices to protect the files. The trends show BJP moving towards majority with 192 seats, while TMC is at 96.

Amidst the counting of Bengal elections, tremendous drama was witnessed at the Shakhwat Memorial Counting Centre. Here counting was going on for Bhawanipur seat, from where Mamata Banerjee and Shubhendu Adhikari are candidates. It is reported that both the leaders had gone inside the center with their phones, although this is not allowed as per the rules. After this, the Election Commission took immediate action and ordered the confiscation of the phones of both of them.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Banerjee had also reached the same counting centre. But the Election Commission directed him to go out from there. The Commission said that only candidates or their agents can stay in the counting centre, and Abhishek is neither of them.

On the other hand, as the trends of BJP's victory are becoming clear, the commotion has also intensified in the state's administrative headquarters 'Nabanna'. Central forces have been deployed in all government offices including Nabanna. The central forces along with the police are keeping a close watch that no employee can go out with the files. All government employees going in and out are being searched.

It is believed that this step has been taken so that no government document goes missing or destroyed. In fact, during the election campaign, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said that if BJP comes to power, all the old files will be opened. Due to this apprehension, Quick Reaction Team (QRT) of central forces has been deployed at important offices like Nabanna, Mahakaran, Vikas Bhawan, Jalsampad Bhawan and Khadya Bhawan.

Meanwhile, in the afternoon, women supporters of BJP were seen celebrating in front of Nabanna carrying the party flag and raising slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram'. According to the trends, there is going to be a change of power in Bengal after 15 years. BJP is moving towards two-third majority and is leading on 192 seats. At the same time, Trinamool Congress is leading on 96 seats, CPM+ISF on 2 seats, Congress on 1 seat and Humayun Kabir's Aam Janata Unnayan Party is leading on 2 seats.
