Malhotra's bandhgala took over 960 hours
Malhotra's design, a classic bandhgala paired with an architectural cape, took over 960 hours to craft, thanks to the hard work of more than 50 artisans from Mumbai and Delhi.
The embroidery featured traditional techniques like dori, zardozi, chikankari, and kasab to spotlight Mumbai's movie legacy.
As a special tribute, the names of all artisans were woven into the fabric itself.
