The IPL 2026 season got an extra bit special for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) players as cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar invited them for dinner ahead of their clash against Mumbai Indians.
LSG captain Rishabh Pant pace trio of Mohammed Shami,Mohsin Khan, and Avesh Khan among many others were present at the gathering which was organised due to Arjun Tendulkar being part of the LSG setup.
Photos from the occasion have gone viral across the internet with fans thrilled with such an opportunity to meet one of the best cricketers in the history of the game.

Pacer Mohsin Khan also took to his Instagram to post a few pictures from the dinner and share his feelings.
The Mohsin Khan said:
"An evening with the God of cricket. Blessed!" while he also thanked Arjun for organizing the dinner.

Both teams under pressure in IPL 2026
While all's good off the field, LSG and MI have been struggling to get results their way in the IPL 2026 edition. MI led by Hardik Pandya has had a forgetful season so far losing 7 matches and registering just 2 wins till now. They are on the verge of getting knocked out this season.
The inconsistency of players like Suryakumar Yadav has proved to be costly along with the absence of Rohit Sharma who is currently nursing an injury.
LSG too has had their share of problems after a brilliant start they lost their way and lost five matches in a row. Rishabh Pant has been under pressure for his form and captaincy.
The pacer's efforts went in vain against Delhi Capitals as he picked up 5 wickets for 23 runs but it wasn't enough for the team to secure a win.
Both teams are in must-win situation going into the next stages of the league stage and both teams will need their senior players to perform to keep their playoffs dreams alive.
