Ingredients to make Kathiawadi Tadka Buttermilk-
For buttermilk-
-1 cup cold plain curd
-1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
-½ tsp roasted cumin powder
-½ tsp black salt
-½ tsp salt
-½ tsp dry ginger powder (saunth)
-½ tsp black pepper powder
-3 cups cold water
For tempering-
-1 tablespoon ghee
-½ tsp cumin powder
-1 teaspoon chopped green chilli
-10-12 curry leaves
Method of making Kathiawadi tadka buttermilk-
To make Kathiawadi Tadka Buttermilk, first put curd in a medium sized bowl and beat it until it becomes smooth and creamy. After this, add coriander, cumin powder, black salt, salt, ginger powder, black pepper powder and water in the bowl and mix everything well.
To add tempering to buttermilk-
To temper the buttermilk, first keep a pan on medium flame. After this, heat ghee in the pan. When the ghee is hot, add cumin powder, green chillies and curry leaves and let it crackle for 4-5 seconds. Pour this prepared tempering over buttermilk and mix well. Before serving the buttermilk, add ice cubes to the buttermilk glass.
