Delhi. Bharat Taxi, the country’s first government-backed, cooperative-based taxi service, has announced a partnership with Indian Premier League (IPL) team Delhi Capitals as the official transportation partner for the 2026 season. Under the agreement, Bharat Taxi will run on-ground activities and digital campaigns during the IPL.
This will also include special travel facilities on match days for fans traveling to watch matches in Delhi-NCR. “Delhi is an important market for us and this partnership with Delhi Capitals strengthens our presence here,” Bharat Taxi Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Colonel Himanshu Sharma said in the statement.
Delhi Capitals Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sunil Gupta said that the partnership aims to improve the match day experience of fans. “Having a reliable transportation partner can help fans reach the stadium on time,” he said.
