Rahul Gandhi came out in support of TMC
Rahul Gandhi expressed his views on social media platform X while supporting Trinamool Congress. He wrote, “Some people in the Congress and others are celebrating TMC’s defeat. They need to understand clearly that the theft of the mandate of Assam and Bengal is a major step by the BJP in its mission to destroy Indian democracy.” In his statement he further said, “Leave aside petty politics. This is not about any one party or the other. This is about India.”
This statement of Rahul Gandhi is being seen as a sharp political reaction to the big victory of BJP. Instead of describing this issue as limited only to election victory or defeat, he has described it as a big question to democracy. At present, after this statement, the round of allegations and counter-allegations between political parties is likely to intensify further.
