What new facilities were added to the Jabal Al Rahma Project?
In the second phase of this project, many modern machines and sheds have been installed to provide coolness to the passengers, details of which are given below:
- Total 18 new modern umbrellas Have been installed, in which 36 mist fans (fans with water spray) have been fitted.
- to keep the environment cool 7 Advanced Air-Cooling Units Have been installed.
- To strengthen the cooling system 107 Mist Fan Column Have been erected.
- Now this entire project covers an area of more than 2 lakh 72 thousand square meters.
What benefit will passengers get from this and who is doing this work?
This entire work was done under the guidance of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites. Kadana Development and Development Company Has completed. After this expansion, the number of passengers taking advantage of the shade and cool places will increase by 5 times as compared to last year.
This initiative comes under the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Programme. Its main objective is to implement the highest standards of safety and comfort for Haj pilgrims so that they can perform their religious rituals without any hassle. In the first phase, 3 umbrellas and more than 165 mist fan columns were installed, which has now been further expanded in the second phase.
