New Delhi: The Indian men’s doubles badminton pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty shared a cryptic post on social media following India’s bronze medal victory at the recently concluded Thomas Cup 2026. India settled for bronze after losing to France in the semifinal of the premier tournament.

Satwik and Chirag were part of the Indian men’s team that won the bronze medal in the Thomas Cup. The former world no.1 doubles pair returned home earlier this week to a silent reception at the airport. The duo took to social media to share a cryptic post after arriving back home. They shared two pictures of the Indian squad that travelled to Horsens in Denmark for the Thomas Cup, but it was the caption that caught attention.

It appeared to be the usual ‘how it started, how it’s going’ post, however, the cryptic message at the bottom created a stir. In both pictures, the squad can be seen with no fanfare around them. Describing the mute arrival, Chirag argued that no one knows what happened over the last two weeks, and nobody seems to care.

“Back home now. As usual, no one knows what happened over the past two weeks, and it seems like no one really cares,” wrote the Indian shuttler with the two pictures on his Instagram story. Satwik shared Chirag’s story on his official account, echoing his doubles partner’s sentiments.

The post instantly went viral on social media, drawing reactions from fans. Many lauded the Indian doubles duo for their heroics in the tournament and reminded them that they remain the heroes of India’s medal-winning campaign. The fans also assured the duo that they care and are firmly behind them as they aim to clinch more medals for India on the highest stage.
