In a shocking incident in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, a property dealer was fatally shot by assailants. The incident occurred in the Kamalpur Chandora village within the Bilari police jurisdiction, where Ranjit Chauhan was targeted while taking a stroll outside his home last night. The event has caused widespread panic in the area, leaving the victim's family in deep distress as law enforcement investigates the case.

Reports indicate that Ranjit Chauhan stepped out of his house around 7:30 PM after having dinner, asking his wife Neha to prepare tea. As he walked a short distance from home, he was ambushed by attackers who had been lying in wait. They opened fire, and Ranjit was critically injured, collapsing on the ground. Although nearby residents rushed to the scene, he had already succumbed to his injuries.

The family of the deceased has accused local individuals, Ajay and Yogendra, along with a relative, of orchestrating the murder. They believe Ranjit was deliberately targeted, asserting that he had no significant enemies. Tragically, Ranjit's wife is pregnant, and her delivery is imminent.

Upon receiving news of the incident, the Bilari police arrived at the scene, securing the body for an autopsy. Investigating officers examined the site for evidence, and a forensic team was also summoned. Authorities have stated that a case has been registered based on the family's complaint, and multiple teams have been deployed to apprehend the suspects. They are optimistic about making arrests soon.
