Gorakhpur Two Lane Bridge Inauguration: During the inauguration of the two-lane bridge built on the water body in the Planetarium area on Tuesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that after 2017, a long series of development works has started in the city. He appealed to the citizens to conserve these facilities so that their benefits continue for a long time. Said that along with the country and the state, Gorakhpur is also moving forward on the path of development.
Modern bridge built at a cost of Rs 14.33 crore
The Chief Minister dedicated this bridge built at a cost of Rs 14.33 crore to the public by cutting the ribbon. After inspection, he said that earlier the image of Gorakhpur was associated with insecurity and backwardness, but now investment has increased here and youth are getting employment. More than 50 thousand youth have got jobs in Gida area alone.
Major changes in infrastructure and facilities
CM Yogi said that today there is a network of four-lane and six-lane roads in Gorakhpur. Tourist places like AIIMS, fertilizer factory, Pipraich sugar mill, Ayush University, zoo and Ramgarhtal are giving a new identity to the city. He said that this development is the result of collective efforts.
Planetarium area becomes posh area
The Chief Minister said that 20 years ago people were afraid to settle in the Planetarium area, but today it is one of the most expensive and developed areas. The new bridge will strengthen the internal connectivity of the area. The science park, convention center and water body are also being beautified here.
Better connectivity, relief from jam
A 1.5 meter wide footpath has been built on both sides of this 112 meter long bridge. With its construction, people of many colonies will not have to travel long distances. Besides, there will be relief from traffic jam in Naya Savera area.

During the program, the Chief Minister called the workers and took photographs with them and also met the children. MP Ravikishan said that under the leadership of CM Yogi, Gorakhpur is becoming a new example of development.
