In a disturbing case from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, a woman was allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted by a gym trainer at Ultimate Fitness Gym located near the main post office in the Civil Lines area. The accused, Akram Khan, along with his brother Alam Beg, has been arrested by the police after the woman reported that she was coerced into sexual acts and blackmailed for money, with videos of the incidents recorded without her consent.

Details of the Assault

The victim revealed to the authorities that she had been a member of the gym since 2024. Akram would often engage her in conversation and offer her drinks before workouts, which he would spike with drugs, rendering her unconscious. In this vulnerable state, he would take her to a private room within the gym and assault her, capturing the acts on video.

Blackmail Demands

After becoming suspicious, the woman ceased her visits to the gym. Following this, the accused began threatening her, claiming he would release the videos if she did not comply with his demands for money. Initially, he asked for 10 lakh rupees, later escalating the demand to 50 lakh rupees. Out of fear, the woman had already paid around 80,000 rupees. Akram and Alam also stalked her and gathered information about her family, causing her significant distress.

Police Action

Upon receiving the woman's complaint, law enforcement acted swiftly, apprehending both brothers. The police recovered several items from the suspects, including two pen drives, two mobile phones, nine vials of performance-enhancing drugs, a wrapper containing three pills, and six syringes.

Confession and Legal Proceedings

During interrogation, Akram confessed to drugging women at the gym and extorting money by threatening to release compromising videos. His brother Alam was complicit in these actions. The police have filed serious charges against both individuals, and further investigations are underway. Following their arrest, a video surfaced showing Akram arguing with police before he began to plead for forgiveness, admitting his wrongdoing.
