It's important to note that selling alcohol without a license is illegal, and there are also regulations regarding how much alcohol one can keep at home. The limits vary by state, as they are determined by each state's excise policy.

Alcohol Storage Regulations in Haryana

In Haryana, residents can store a maximum of 6 bottles of Indian liquor and 18 bottles of foreign liquor produced in India. If individuals wish to keep more than this limit, they must obtain a permit by paying an annual fee of ₹200 or a lifetime fee of ₹2000.

Delhi's Alcohol Storage Limits

In the capital city of Delhi, individuals are allowed to store no more than 18 liters of alcohol at home, which includes wine, alcopops, and beer. Additionally, one cannot keep more than 9 liters of Indian or foreign rum, whiskey, vodka, or gin. It's also important to note that individuals can carry only one liter of alcohol outside Delhi, while travelers returning from abroad can bring in up to 2 liters.

Punjab's Liquor Storage Rules

Punjab is known for its vibrant drinking culture. Residents can store up to 2 bottles of foreign liquor or 2 bottles of domestic liquor at home, along with a case of beer (650 ML). For those wishing to store more, a license is required, costing ₹1000 annually or ₹10000 for a lifetime.

Uttar Pradesh Alcohol Storage Regulations

In Uttar Pradesh, individuals are permitted to keep up to 6 liters of alcohol for personal use. To store more than this limit, a license must be obtained, which costs ₹12000 annually.

Alcohol Storage Limits in Rajasthan

In Rajasthan, residents can store up to 12 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL). Different rules apply for parties, where a license can be obtained for ₹2000, along with additional taxes for business parties.

Goa's Alcohol Storage Guidelines

In Goa, individuals can store 24 bottles of beer, 12 bottles of IMFL, and 18 bottles of domestic liquor at home. In contrast, Maharashtra allows only 8 bottles of alcohol to be stored.
