'AI push to bring Rs 4,100-cr revenue': Mahindra Group's Anish Shah

Mahindra Group is integrating artificial intelligence across its operations. This move aims to boost profits significantly. In the automotive sector, AI will drive over ₹4,100 crore in revenue by FY27. Customer satisfaction will also see a 2-3 percentage point increase. Mahindra Finance will disburse ₹10,000 crore via AI-driven customer acquisition. Operations will become largely autonomous, with AI assisting loan collections.

Mumbai: The Mahindra Group is putting artificial intelligence to work across its businesses-from the shop floor to the call centre-and its impact on profitability.

Addressing the quarterly earnings press meet, Anish Shah, group managing director & CEO, said in the automotive business, AI-led initiatives are targeted to generate more than ₹4,100 crore in revenue in FY27, enhance customer satisfaction by 2-3 percentage points, and cut new product development timelines by 10%.

At Mahindra Finance, the targets are sharper-₹10,000 crore in disbursements through AI-driven customer acquisition, 80% of operations running autonomously, and 75% of live loan collections AI-assisted.
