Bradley Walsh pleads "I don't want to" as he faces his fear of heights in the latest episode of Breaking Dad.

The ITV show sees The Chase host and his son Barney travel to different countries and tackle a range of nerve-wracking challenges. It is now in its seventh series, with the duo heading Down Under to explore Australia, and in the upcoming instalment Bradley braves a zipline high in the Blue Mountains as son Barney offers encouragement.

In a clip from the episode, Bradley is seen looking terrified as he clings to his rope, breathing heavily.

"I really, really tell you, guys, I really don't want to do this," muttered the star, who has a well documented fear of heights.

"Dad, you can do it!" exclaims Barney, but the TV star insisted: "No, I can't. I don't want to do it Barns. Please don't. Please don't do none of that for me."

"Well, you can do it, you can," urged Barney, who is known for hosting TV hit Gladiators alongside his famous dad.

But Bradley said: "What did I just tell him? Didn't I just tell him?"

"I really don't want to, though," he went on. "I really don't want to do it."

However, he refused to back down, starting to move his hands along the ropes, murmering: "Please, God."

As Barney encouraged him, yelling "you got it", Bradley then made his way slowly along the rope, before clambering onto steady ground the other side.

However, when he was asked how he felt he appeared to let slip a swear word as he admitted: "Awful."

"You smashed it, you smashed it," Barney insisted.

Breaking Dad started in 2019 and is now on its seventh series. It started earlier in May, with the opening episode seeing the father and son arriving in Sydney, where they took in sights such as Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House before tackling a hair-raising aerobatic flight and a ride in an extreme, high-altitude cable car.

Bradley and Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad will air on Friday May 8 at 7.30pm on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
