National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet against three people associated with the ISIS terrorist organization. These people had hatched a dangerous conspiracy to kill innocent people by spreading poison in public places. What was the plan to attack with poison and who was the mastermind?

NIA investigation revealed that the main accused of this conspiracy Dr. Syed Ahmed Mohiuddin who is an MBBS graduate. He had converted his house in Hyderabad into a secret lab, where he used castor seeds. ricin Was preparing a dangerous poison named. This poison comes in the Schedule I list of Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC). Dr. Mohiuddin was lured by foreign ISIS handlers to make him the ‘rich’ of South Asia.

Role of co-accused and how this network was run

Two other people were also involved in this conspiracy, who are residents of Uttar Pradesh. Azad And Mohammad Suhel Maintained contacts with foreign handlers and used terrorist funds. Mohammad Suhail’s job was to recruit youth, spy and prepare ISIS flags. Azad was looking after the supply of cash and weapons. All of them had also taken the oath of allegiance (Bay’ah) to ISIS and carried out suspicious activities in different areas of Rajasthan and Gujarat.

The case began in November 2025 when the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested Dr. Mohiuddin. Later in January 2026, NIA took charge of this case. On 5 May 2026, the charge sheet was filed in the special NIA court of Ahmedabad. A case has been registered against the accused under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Indian Code of Justice (BNS) and Arms Act. NIA is now searching for the foreign handlers who helped in carrying out this entire conspiracy.
