IISER Mohali Vacancy 2026: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali—an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India—has invited online applications for direct recruitment to 40 non-teaching positions. **Who Can Apply?**
**Superintending Engineer:** For this position at IISER Mohali, candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with a First Class distinction. Additionally, 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience is required.

**Deputy Registrar:** For this position, candidates must possess a Master's degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 55%. Furthermore, 5 years of administrative experience is mandatory.

**Junior Office Assistant:** For this position, a Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate score of 50% is required. In addition, 4 years of office experience and a typing speed of 35 words per minute are essential.

**Attendant:** For this position, candidates must have passed their Matriculation (Class 10) examination or hold a 3-year diploma. Additionally, 3 years of experience in a relevant field is mandatory.

**What are the Age Limit Criteria?**
The age limits for the various positions at IISER Mohali have been prescribed differently. For Group ‘A’ posts (Levels 13, 12, and 11), the maximum age limit ranges from 50 to 56 years, whereas for Group ‘A’ posts (Level 10), the limit is set at 40 years. In Group B’, the maximum age limit has been set at 38 to 40 years for Level 7, and 35 years for Level 6. Meanwhile, in Group ‘C’, the maximum age limit is 33 years for Levels 5 and 4, and 32 years for Level 1.

**View Application Fee**
The application fee has been determined based on different categories. General (UR) and OBC-NCL candidates are required to pay a total fee of ₹1,298 (₹1,100 + 18% GST). For the EWS category, the fee is ₹708 (₹600 + 18% GST). Conversely, SC, ST, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Ex-Servicemen, and female candidates have been granted a complete exemption from the application fee; that is, they are not required to pay any fee.
