Narayanpur, Jamtara, Jharkhand:- Two people have been injured in a road accident that occurred at 9.30 am on Tuesday near Banspahadi of Narayanpur police station area on Govindpur Sahibganj Highway. According to the information received, 20-year-old Jhalku Mahato, son of Bhukal Mahato of Ektara village of Narayanpur police station area, was returning to his home on bike after collecting the housing money from Pabia Bank along with his aunt, 35-year-old Mithila Devi.
Near Banspahadi village of the police station area, a truck coming from the opposite direction hit the bike rider due to which both of them fell and got injured. After the incident, both the injured were treated at CHC Narayanpur and Mithila Devi has been referred to Dhanbad for better treatment. Every day a road accident occurs somewhere in this area and there is loss of life and property. All efforts to curb road accidents have proved unsuccessful.
