In a recent statement, Om Prakash Rajbhar, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government and leader of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, launched a fierce attack on Akhilesh Yadav. He referred to Yadav as a leader who relies on tweets, air conditioning, and press conferences, predicting that Yadav's political career will come to an end after the 2027 elections, suggesting he might even move to London. This criticism comes in the wake of the TMC's significant defeat in West Bengal, which prompted leaders of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) to reach out to Mamata Banerjee, including Akhilesh Yadav, as confirmed by Banerjee herself. Reports indicate that Yadav may travel to Kolkata to meet Banerjee, marking their second meeting in four months, the first being prior to the elections on January 27.
What Did Om Prakash Rajbhar Say?
Rajbhar criticized Yadav, stating, "Mamata Banerjee waited for weeks for Akhilesh to visit, but he never showed up. In this scorching heat, where will he go? How will he conduct rallies and roadshows? He would sweat and feel the heat. He even has to wake up in the morning. The easiest thing for him is to tweet after waking up in the afternoon. He has consistently done this. Now he is going to Bengal, but he won't hold any rallies. Instead, he will sit in the comfort of air conditioning and reassure Mamata Ji, asking her to support him in Uttar Pradesh like she did in the last elections."
‘The Public is Now on the Throne’
Rajbhar further stated, "Through his meeting with Mamata Ji in Bengal, Akhilesh will send a message to Uttar Pradesh that everything is due to the EVMs. He is doing this for himself so that when he loses in 2027, he can blame the EVMs. However, he should remember that the public is now in power. Wherever the throne is vacant, the public has declared that they will take it back."
Rajbhar's Previous Criticism of Akhilesh Yadav
Earlier, on Tuesday, Rajbhar had also targeted Yadav, labeling him as a leader who relies on tweets, air conditioning, and press conferences. He expressed no doubt about the Bengal election results, stating, "The moment Akhilesh Yadav announced Mamata didi's victory on Twitter, it was clear she was going to lose. He supported Uddhav Thackeray in Maharashtra, and they lost. He backed Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi, and they lost. He campaigned for Tejashwi Yadav, who also faced defeat. He even tried to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister, but that too ended in failure."
Rajbhar's Predictions for Akhilesh's Future
Rajbhar concluded by stating, "Akhilesh has lost elections in 2014, 2017, 2019, and 2022. He will lose again in 2027. Apart from his caste votes, he has no other strength or quality. He sleeps until noon, rarely steps out of the air conditioning, and is only visible on social media. Even when he was Chief Minister, it was due to the efforts of the respected Mulayam Singh Yadav and uncle Shivpal. The 2012 election was their achievement. Mark my words, after the 2027 elections, Akhilesh's political career will be over, and he will move to London."
