The Android Show: Google has announced the date of its special virtual event The Android Show: I/O Edition. The second edition of this virtual event will take place on May 12 and will be in preparation for the company’s developer conference to be held later this month. The Mountain View-based tech giant says this will be one of the biggest years for Android, but it didn’t reveal any new features coming to Android 17.

Interestingly, the development cycle of the operating system was started earlier this year, and four of its beta updates have already been released.

The company says that this year is going to be a big one for Android, the company has just released a teaser video of the event on YouTube, in which the time and date have been revealed.
According to reports, Android 17 focuses more on Performance Optimization and Smooth User Experience rather than major design changes. That means users can get more fast, stable and better Android experience.
