Pune Crime News: An incident has come to light from Pune district of Maharashtra, which has shocked every sensitive person. What started as a minor dispute regarding studies and marks quickly turned into a horrific crime. It is alleged that a father took the life of his own nine-year-old daughter just because he had doubts about her report card.
Controversy started after showing report card, violence increased within minutes
According to the police, the incident took place in Hanumanvasti area of Deulgaon Raje village of Daund taluka of Pune district. The accused father Shantaram Duryodhan Chavan was living with his daughter and 10-year-old son. It is being told that when the daughter showed her annual school report card, the father became suspicious of her marks. He felt that the girl had tampered to increase her marks and had also made changes in her brother's report card. This is where a normal conversation took a dangerous turn.
In anger, he picked up a wood cutting tool and made a fatal attack on an innocent child.
Investigation has revealed that the accused father became so out of control in anger that he attacked his own daughter with a wood cutting tool. The girl suffered serious injuries on her neck and face in the attack, due to which she died on the spot. According to police officials, the attack was extremely violent and an act of anger, which took away the life of an innocent person.
Tried to destroy evidence, set fire to house itself
After the incident, the accused also tried to hide his crime. He kept the girl's body inside the house and set it on fire, due to which a large part of the house got burnt.
Brother revealed the secret, information reached police through family members
The matter came to light when the 10-year-old son of the accused told his uncle about the entire incident. After this the family informed the police. Police reached the spot and recovered the girl's body from the burnt house and sent it for post-mortem. The role of a woman has also come to light in the investigation, who is accused of helping in destroying evidence.
