It may have only been out for a few days, but Saros has already received a pretty big update that makes some crucial changes to the roguelite shooter. Saros update 01.004 is out now on PS5 and PS5 Pro. If you haven't downloaded it yet then you probably should, because it improves one of the weapon effects, making it even more accurate than before. Indeed, if you like the bouncing bullets effect but find it a little unpredictable, then you'll be pleased to hear that the new update makes it much more accurate and reliable.

Furthermore, update 01.004 adds damage scaling to the Powered Dash artefact, all the while updating the visuals.

It's not all good news, however, because developer Housemarque has also lowered the amount of Power gained from the Power Generator weapon trait.

As you can see from the patch notes below, the update also makes important fixes for certain problems, including instances of collision and geometry issues in all biomes.

That's on top of new accessibility and user-interface options, including the addition of new colour categories, preview images and colour matching for Armour Integrity Gauge Corruption.

Needless to say, there are also some visual and audio optimisations and other fixes that should result in a smoother experience.
