Lavanya Tripathi is returning to the big screen with Sathi Leelavathiwhere Malayalam actor Dev Mohan plays the male lead. Directed by Tatineni Satya of Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu and SMS (Siva Manasulo Sruthi) fame, the film is set for a theatrical release on May 8. “I have already watched Sathi Leelavathi with my manager, and we laughed a lot. The film has turned out really well, and I’m very confident about it. Now, I’m waiting to see how the audience receives it,” said Lavanya.
The actor revealed that she learnt she was pregnant during the shoot. “During the filming, I found out that I was pregnant. However, with the team’s support, I managed to complete the shoot smoothly,” she said, adding, “When I came on board, I had no idea I was pregnant and had no symptoms. Later, I realised the shoot wouldn’t be easy, and I even lost weight for the role. I don’t know where I got the energy from. But going forward, if I know I’m pregnant, I will definitely take a break from shoots.”
