Producer Ektaa Kapoor has publicly thanked filmmaker Priyadarshan for directing ' Bhooth Bangla ', calling it the biggest hit of her career. The horror-comedy starring Akshay Kumar crossed Rs 231 crore worldwide, becoming one of 2026's biggest Bollywood box office successes.
Ektaa Kapoor's emotional note for PriyadarshanTaking to Instagram on Wednesday, Ektaa Kapoor shared a series of selfies with Priyadarshan alongside a heartfelt note. She praised the veteran director's professionalism and their unique working dynamic, writing, "I was working with a man who was doing his 100th film… The world expected fireworks when two headstrong people like us came together, but what they didn't see was the deep-rooted mutual respect that defined our journey. I don't think I've had more fun working with anyone than @priyadarshan.official."
