This summer Prince Harry is expected to jet back to the UK, possibly with Meghan Markle in tow - but if he thinks he will be invited to William's for a barbecue he is deluded. With the Invictus Games in Birmingham in 2027, it is expected that Harry at the very least - but most likely with Meghan - will roar into Blighty to launch the one-year countdown.
Meghan will surely come as she cannot resist the huge publicity - good or bad - such a trip will bring and she can use the opportunity to flog some clothes. In case you're unaware, Meghan is on the 'OneOff' app which allows fans to buy outfits similar to whatever she wears out at public events - and she gets up to 25 percent commission on any sales.
She also owns a slice of the app. While many - like myself - think this is exceedingly tacky, she says it allows the public to enjoy an "interactive closet experience."
So Meghan returning to the UK for the first time in four years will generate headlines - and make the Duchess of Sussex some serious dosh.
But if Harry and Meghan - maybe even with Lilibet and Archie in tow - think they can just rock up at Prince William and Princess Catherine's Windsor residence for a bite to eat and a chinwag, they can dream again.
It has been reported this week that still furious William is far from keen on any sibling reunion this year, as he is still furious over the way he and Catherine were treated by Harry in his £20m-plus tell-all snorefest 'Spare'.
Worse than that for deluded Harry - who assumes he can rip into the King (said Charles was not affectionate), the Queen (branded Camilla a 'wicked stepmother'), Catherine (said she made Meghan cry) and William (said he fought him to the floor and shouted at Meghan) - William has had no communication with him at all.
Harry's bitterness with William was sparked in 2016 when the future king told his younger brother he was concerned about the speed of his relationship with Meghan.
Harry held onto that bitterness and vented his rage at William and Catherine specifically in his autobiography Spare. His remarks about the Waleses were quite cruel.
But in Harry's mind he was not in the wrong in any way by publicly ripping into them - so he probably believes: "I've said it now so let's all move on. Water under the bridge and all that!"
No Harry. You humiliated Catherine for money and like any protective husband, William cannot forgive and forget.
So if the seemingly now touring Sussexes think they can make some money and maybe sell a documentary or two on his reunion with the Royal Family, he may have to wait a long time.
When it comes to Harry and Meghan, the royals are 'once bitten, twice shy'.
