Emirates Group has given 20 weeks salary bonus to its 1.3 lakh+ employees after record profits. This announcement was made to commemorate the company's highest ever profit, which was achieved despite challenges.

Dubai: Emirates Group has given a wonderful gift to its employees. The company has earned the highest profit ever in the financial year 2025-26. In this celebration, the group has announced to give 20 weeks' salary (ie approximately 5 months' salary) as bonus to more than 1.3 lakh employees.

This bonus is also special because the company has achieved this position despite difficult circumstances. Air traffic in the region was adversely affected due to the US-Israel-Iran tension since February. The company has thanked the employees for their hard work amid these challenges.

"The hardships of March 2026 may be forgotten, but we will never forget your courage and unwavering strength," Emirates Chairman and Chief Executive Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said in a letter sent to employees. Emirates Airline's profit before tax was 24.4 billion dirhams, up 7%. At the same time, the company's income stood at 150.5 billion dirhams, which increased by 3%. The number of employees in the group has also increased to 1,30,919. Last year alone, the group hired more than 9,700 new people.

Currently, Emirates has resumed its service to 137 cities in 72 countries. Let us tell you that the aviation sector is the backbone of Dubai's economy. This sector currently provides 6.3 lakh jobs. According to reports, this figure is expected to increase further by 2030.
