The actor was told, ‘No Dada, you were replaced because you are black and a black actor is not wanted.’

During the conversation, Dibyendu said, “Negotiations were going on continuously for about 4-5 days. When I asked three days before the shoot whether the shoot was going on or not, I was told that I had been replaced. The reason was that they did not want a ‘black’ actor.” Even the fans were surprised to hear this from him. The actor said that this happens not only with him but with many artists in the industry, but people often do not talk about it openly.

“It is not easy to change the thinking of society”

Dibyendu Bhattacharya further said that this is a very unfortunate situation, but it is not easy to change it. He believes that unless children are taught correct social values ​​and morality from childhood, such mentality present in the society will not end. He said, “If children are not taught humanity, equality and respect for others from the beginning, then it is difficult to change such thinking.”

During the conversation, Dibyendu also gave examples of countries like Japan and Korea. According to him, children there are taught discipline, respect and social behavior from an early age. He said that in India it largely depends on family and upbringing. If right learning is imparted from home, then things like discrimination can gradually end in the society.
