Amazon Great Summer Sale News: There is good news for consumers who love online shopping. Amazon’s much-awaited ‘Great Summer Sale’ has gone live for Prime members from today, May 7. The sale starts tomorrow, May 8 for all general users. Huge discounts are being offered on smartphones, laptops, smart TVs and home appliances in this sale. Interestingly, the rival company Flipkart’s sale is also starting from May 9, so this is going to be a feast for the customers.

Special ‘early access’ and offers for Prime members

Prime members have been given special priority (Early Access) in this sale. According to Amazon, Prime members will get an additional discount of up to 15% on any product purchase. It offers huge savings on smartphones from leading brands like Samsung, Apple, Realme, iQOO, OnePlus and Xiaomi. Apart from smartphones, big discounts have also been announced on home appliances like LED smart TVs, split ACs and fridges.

Bank offers and facility of easy EMIs

Amazon has announced several banking offers to double the shopping experience of its customers:

• HDFC Bank: Customers will get 10% instant discount and easy EMIs on HDFC Bank credit cards.
• No-Cost EMI: Under No-Cost EMI, customers can purchase their favorite products by spending just Rs 9 per day.
• Amazon Pay ICICI Card: Customers using this card will get 5% unlimited cashback.
• Additional benefits: An extra benefit of ₹1,250 to ₹2,500 is also being offered on select products.

‘Blast’ deals on smartphones and laptops

In this sale, discounts of up to ₹30,000 are being offered on Samsung smartphones. Samsung’s phones are available starting at ₹13,999, while Redmi’s phones are available at a starting price of ₹11,999. Up to 60% discount is being offered on laptop purchases, while up to 70% discount is being offered on audio devices (headphones, speakers).

Savings of thousands of rupees on home appliances

In view of summer, special discounts on AC and fridge are offered:

• Smart TV: The Smart TV starts at just ₹ 6,999 and is up to 40% off on Samsung Smart TVs.
• Air Conditioners: Up to 55% discount on purchase of Inverter Split AC.
• Refrigerators: Haier’s premium fridge priced at ₹1,09,390 is available for just ₹60,990 in this sale. That means customers are getting a huge discount of up to ₹49,000 on the purchase of the fridge.
