New Delhi:Sony’s upcoming flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 1 VIII has come into discussion even before its launch. According to reports, this smartphone was listed on Amazon Germany for some time, from where many important information to its design, possible price and features came to light.

Although this listing was later removed, but according to leaked reports, global sales of Sony Xperia 1 VIII may start from June 26, 2026. Coming in the premium segment, this phone can be offered with high-end features and professional camera setup.

Expected price of Sony Xperia 1 VIII

According to leaked information, the price of Sony Xperia 1 VIII in Germany is said to be EUR 1,868.99, which is approximately Rs 2.08 lakh in Indian currency.

Whereas in Britain its probable price has been said to be GBP 1,728 i.e. approximately Rs 2.22 lakh. According to reports, this package may also include Sony’s premium WH-1000XM6 wireless headphones, due to which the actual price of the phone may be different.

The phone can come in three premium color options

According to reports, Xperia 1 VIII can be launched in three color options like Garnet Red, Graphite Black and Lowlight Silver.

The CAD renders surfaced online have shown the long and slim design of the phone, which is considered to be the hallmark of Sony. Along with this, boxy rear camera module and triple camera setup is also seen.

Expected to get 120Hz OLED display

Sony Xperia 1 VIII is likely to have a 6.5-inch full-HD+ OLED display. According to reports, the phone can get 120Hz refresh rate, which can improve the scrolling and gaming experience.

Although no official information has been revealed yet regarding the chipset, it is believed that the company can provide a flagship-level processor in it.

Focus will be on triple camera setup

For photography, the Xperia 1 VIII is expected to have a triple rear camera setup. It may include a 24mm main camera, 16mm ultra-wide lens and 70mm telephoto sensor.
