A moment of heat showed up in a soaked Ekana Stadium as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru all rounder Krunal Pandya was spotted sledging the Lucknow Super Giants batter Nicholas Pooran. There have been at least two rain delays before Nicholas Pooran came in to bat.
After the second delay, play resumed at around 9 pm, and the RCB captain brought in Krunal Pandya. And LSG lost their first wicket of Arshin Kulkarni, who was basically anchoring and watching Mitchell Marsh hammering the LSG bowlers.
It all happened in the 10th over, aka the same as Kulkarni's dismissal; the verbal exchange happened. In that over, barring Marsh running two runs, no other run was conceded. Krunal bowled the final ball to Marsh, and while returning, he was seen turning back to Pooran.
Krunal gave a really cold stare and passed a few words. Pooran, in return, passed a few too and gave a stare back. And in the next over, he smacked two boundaries off Rasik Salam.
