A big update has come out for the customers of HDFC Bank. The bank has issued a down time alert (HDFC Bank Downtime Alert). On May 10, many services will be temporarily unavailable for the scheduled time. During this period, customers may face difficulty in carrying out transactions. The private sector bank has given this information in its official website But it is given.

This step has been taken by the bank due to schedule maintenance. Which all banks do from time to time. So that uninterrupted and fast banking services can be ensured for the customers. During this time, upgrades and improvements are made to the system. However, banks give it to the customers in advance. So that customers can complete necessary transactions on time.

When will which service be disrupted?

• On May 10, RTGS transactions will be closed for 2 hours from 1:30 AM to 3:30 AM. During this period, customers can use NEFT and IMPS without any interruption.
• On May 10, from 12:00 AM to 1:30 AM, customers will not be able to do IMPS transactions for 1 hour 30 minutes due to schedule maintenance. You will not be able to do IMPS transactions during this period. There will be no impact on NEFT, RTGS and other services.
• On this day, customers will not get the facility of forex card loading and instant loading through prepaid card net banking from 2:30 AM to 6:00 AM. However, there will be no impact on e-com, ATM withdrawal, POS, tap and pay transactions during this period. Customers can use these options as per need.

These services were disrupted on 2, 3 and 5 May

Even before this, the bank had temporarily stopped many scheduled maintenance services. On May 2, NEFT services were not available from 1:30 AM to 4:30 AM. On May 3, RTGS transactions were stopped from 1:30 AM to 4:30 AM. On May 5, due to maintenance work, the bank temporarily closed the facility of viewing and downloading credit card statements on HDFC Bank app and net banking service from 1:15 AM to 2:45 AM.
