Palak Tiwari shares experience of growing up without father

Palak Tiwari has opened up about her experience of growing up in a household without a father, referring to it as a full-circle moment.

The actress, currently gearing up for her upcoming web series Lukkhespoke at length about her upbringing following her mother Shweta Tiwari’s separation from Raja Chaudhry.

In an exclusive interview with YouthPalak said she has never felt deprived of anything in her life despite growing up without a father.

She told the outlet, “It never really bothered me. A child is like a sponge… you reflect whatever your parents show you. It never felt like something was missing. I had my nani, my mom, my family… it was a full house. I have never felt deprived of anything in my life.”

In addition, she highlighted that her mother has supported her in every aspect of life and has never allowed anyone to disrespect her.

She added, “My mom never let anyone be disrespectful to me. Someone once said I don’t have a dad at home. I told my mom, and she went to his house and said, ‘She does have a family… it’s her nani, it’s me… we are her family.’”

For the unversed, Lukkhe is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video on May 8.
