Redmi is preparing to launch a new performance-focused device in India soon, the first glimpse of which has been revealed through a teaser on Amazon. The company has not yet revealed its name and complete specifications, but it is clear from the teaser that this device will focus especially on fast speed and smooth performance. Its indications have been found on the microsites of Amazon and Xiaomi India, due to which the excitement regarding the launch has increased further.

Redmi’s new device glimpsed on Amazon
According to the teaser shared by Redmi on Twitter, the company is building this new device around speed and high performance. However, it is not yet clear whether it will be a smartphone or a tablet, and whether it will be part of an existing series or a new lineup.

The microsite is also live on the websites of both Amazon India and Xiaomi India, but the name or specifications of the device have not been revealed yet. Only messages to “Speed” and “Performance” are being shown on both the platforms.

“Redmi S” text is also visible on Amazon’s microsite, but the company has not yet provided any official information on its meaning. In the coming days, Redmi may share more details about this upcoming device.

Could it be part of the Redmi Turbo series?
Some users on social media are speculating that this device could be a part of the Redmi Turbo lineup, as the teaser repeatedly focuses on speed and performance. However, Redmi has not yet launched Turbo series smartphones under this branding in India.

Recently the company launched Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max in China. Redmi Turbo 5 had MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor and Redmi Turbo 5 Max had MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor.

Talking about camera, both phones have dual rear camera setup, which includes 50MP primary and 8MP ultrawide lens. A 20MP selfie camera is provided in the front. In terms of battery, the Turbo 5 comes with a 7,560mAh battery and the Turbo 5 Max comes with a 9,000mAh battery, and both support 100W fast charging.
