IPL 2026 RCB vs LSG Match Highlights: In the 50th match of IPL 2026, on Thursday, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) performed brilliantly and defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 9 runs. While chasing the target of 213 runs under Duckworth-Lewis rule in the rain-affected match at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, RCB could score only 203 runs after losing 6 wickets in 19 overs. This is LSG’s third win this season.

However, even the strong innings of Krunal-Shepherd could not lead RCB to victory. If RCB had won this match, it would have got 14 points and would have come first in the points table.

Prince Yadav shines in bowling for LSG

In bowling, Prince Yadav bowled brilliantly for Lucknow Super Giants and took 3 wickets for 33 runs in 4 overs. Whereas, Shahbaz Ahmed took 2 wickets in his name. While Mohammed Shami took one wicket.

Mitchell Marsh played a explosive innings

Earlier, LSG scored 209 runs on the scoreboard after losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. Mitchell Marsh and Arshin Kulkarni added 95 runs for the first wicket in 9.2 overs. Arshin was out after scoring 17 runs. Marsh along with Nicholas Pooran made a partnership of 70 runs for the second wicket. Puran scored 38 runs in 23 balls. Marsh stood at one end and completed his century in 49 balls.

Marsh scored 111 runs in 56 balls with the help of 9 fours and 9 skyscraper sixes. In the last overs, captain Rishabh Pant scored unbeaten 32 runs in 10 balls. Pant hit 4 fours and 2 sixes. In bowling, Josh Hazlewood, Krunal Pandya and Rasikh Salam took one wicket each for RCB. RCB has faced its fourth defeat of this season.
