The shooting of this film based on Jhulan Goswami’s biopic was completed in the year 2022. Anushka Sharma has played the role of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the film and for this she also took cricket training for a long time. The film is directed by Prosit Roy. After the shooting, its post-production also started in 2023, but despite this the film has not been released yet.

There were plans to release ‘Chakda Express’ on the OTT platform, but till now no final decision has been taken on this either. Neither the release date of the film has been revealed nor any official announcement has been made.

Dibyendu Bhattacharya revealed

Actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya, who played an important role in the film, has recently reacted to this. He told that the film is completely ready and he has also completed his dubbing.

However, he also clarified that he has no information regarding the release of the film. According to him, such decisions are not in the hands of artists.

Dibyendu Bhattacharya also said that he asked the director several times about the release of the film, but he too did not get any clear information. Even Jhulan Goswami is unaware of when the film will reach the audience.

Anushka Sharma’s last big film was ‘Zero’ released in 2018. After this he did cameos in some projects, but ‘Chakda Express’ remains his most talked about and most awaited film.
