Chandpur. Various public welfare programs will be organized in the coming days under the “Seva Hi Sankalp” campaign by Abha Foundation, which is active in the field of social service in Bijnor district. The organization has prepared a plan for special camps to women’s health, eye care and assistance to needy women.

Giving information, Abha Singh, founder of Abha Foundation and social worker, said that the first program will be organized on Sunday, May 17, near Jharkhandi Mandir Prabhalay place in Siau. In the women’s health awareness camp starting from 9 am, women’s health check-up, medical consultation and medicines will be distributed free of cost. The objective of the camp is to make rural and needy women aware of health and to provide them first aid facilities.

He said that after this, the seventh eye camp will be organized at the Gram Panchayat building located in village Ajdev Khanpur on Sunday, May 24. In this camp starting from 9 am, eye examination, consultation, medicine and spectacles will be distributed by ophthalmologists. Besides, registration for operation of cataract patients and necessary medical procedures will also be completed. A large number of patients have also benefited from the eye camps previously organized by the organization.

Abha Singh further said that on Sunday, May 31, a cooker distribution program will be organized for widows and disabled women at Unique Hospital located in village Fina. The program will start at 9 am. He said that it will be mandatory for the needy desirous of availing benefits to bring their mobile number and Aadhar card with them, so that the eligibility can be verified.

Social worker Abha Singh appealed to the residents of the area and said that more and more needy people should take advantage of these camps and reach on time and get registered. He said that Abha Foundation will continue to do similar service work in the interest of society in the future also.
