SIT seizes old mobile phone of Girish Mattannavar

Belthangady: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged burial case in Dharmasthala village has seized an old mobile phone belonging to Girish Mattannavar as part of the investigation.
According to sources, SIT officials had issued a notice directing Girish Mattannavar to hand over his old Android mobile phone for investigation purposes.
Following the notice, Girish Mattannavar appeared before the SIT office in Belthangady at around 11 am on Thursday and submitted the old mobile phone to the investigators.
Sources said the Scene of Crime Officer (SOCO) team took custody of the mobile phone and conducted mahazar proceedings.
